funny story

This happened a while ago...

Steven and I were in Denny's when a family (dad, mom, 3 children) with some sort of British/Australian accent walks in and sits down next to us...
This was the conversation we heard (to be read with the proper accent):

Older daughter: "Why don't we just get 2 (meals) for the 3 of us?"
Younger son: "Why can't we all have our own?"
Older daughter: "Because the portions are large."
Younger son: "How do you know the portions are large?"
Older daughter: "Well... because it's America."

Oh boy....
